The Killers Confirm New Festive Charity Single 'The Cowboy's Christmas Ball' - Listen Now

The Killers have announced that for the sixth consecutive year they will release another Christmas tune, with all the proceeds going to charity.

‘The Cowboy’s Christmas Ball’ will be available for download from today (December 1st) to coincide with the World’s AIDS Day.

The song, which is a Killers adaptation of a classic 1890’s Larry Chittenden poem ‘The Poet-Ranchman of Texas’, will be released as part of an EP.

The EP will consist of all the other Christmas songs the Las Vegas band have released over the years for the first time on one album. A video will shortly be following the release of the single and all proceeds will be going towards (RED), a charity based solely on combining businesses and consumers together in fighting AIDS.

The Killers are currently back in the studio working on a follow up to their 2008 number one hit album, ‘Day and Age.’
