Earlier this evening Download Festival unveiled a further five acts for it's 2012 line-up. Announcing the bands via Zane Lowe's Radio One Evening Show, Radio One Rock Show host Daniel P Carter revealed that Download will host the long-awaited return of Soundgarden, as well as performances from Chase And Status, Biffy Clyro, You Me At Six and Tenacious D. The DJ also promised fans another announcement later on, well, here it is...
With Radio One's Rock Show live on air right now, DJ Daniel P Carter has unveiled a further nine bands. New additions to the line-up include, Machine Head, Lamb of God, Trivium, Devin Townsend Project, Devildriver, Little Angels, Anthrax, Ugly Kid Joe and August Burns Red.
 So, the line-up for Download Festival 2012 so far is...

Download Festival weekend ticket prices will remain the same as the prices for Download 2011 until midday Monday 30th January 2012 when all ticket types will go off sale. All tickets will go back on sale at 5pm Monday 30th January 2012 with Weekend tickets increased to 2012 prices. Fans should take advantage of this offer while it lasts!
