'I Experienced Beatles Success Premonition With John Lennon,' Claims Sir Paul McCartney

Sir Paul McCartney has claimed that he had bandmate John Lennon both experienced a premonition predicting that their band, which grew into what we know as the Beatles, would see great success – all whilst they were writing songs in his garden.

McCartney last week released his latest solo album ‘Kisses on the Bottom’, but has instead been revisiting his Beatles past when talking with press recently – even saying that he ’couldn’t believe he was in the Beatles’. Now, he’s opened up about a dream that him and Lennon shared that involved the songwriters digging up a lot of gold coins...

“Life gives you minor premonitions. You don't think of them as premonitions until the dream comes true and you think, 'Hey, I wonder if that was a sign?' I remember when John and I were first hanging out together, I had a dream about digging in the garden with my hands.

“I'd dreamt that before but I'd never found anything other than an old tin can. But in this dream, I found a gold coin. I kept digging and I found another. And another. So both of us had this dream of finding treasure. And I suppose you could say it came true.”

Macca recently unveiled his first live shows of the year with a trio of gigs in and around Europe. If you’re a fan in Holland, Switzerland or Belgium, check the dates and details out below.
