Just hours after A$AP Rocky told Spinner that rappers “need to stop being so close-minded because that will just cause [hip-hop] to fail,” The Game began tweeting messages described by Perez as ‘hateful and homophobic’ as he took part in one Twitter trend ‘#fagswag’, which saw thousands of users posting jokes about homosexuals.
Some of the Game’s tweets included “If you look any other way but straight while you pissin' you got that #FagSwag,” “If you cried when the ship sank in Titanic... You got that #FagSwag,” and “If you eat one french fry at a time #YouGotThatFagSwag.”
Hilton replied: “Fighting for equality. Thinking we are all the same. That's the #RealFagSwag! RISE ABOVE ignorance and hate! @thegame It's disheartening to see hateful and homophobic messages like the ones you've been Tweeting. #AspireToGreatness,” causing The Game to retort “@PerezHilton this is comedy.... Stop gettin ya panties all inna bunch... That's #FagSwag”
Hilton finally replied saying “@thegame I don't wear panties. I'm not a woman. I'm a man who is discriminated against by people because of how I was born. #WeAreSimilar,” ending the run of tweets between the two stars.
