Big Country Announce Festival Warm-Up Shows

Big Country have announced three warm-up gigs for their Summer festival appearances. Support at the intimate shows come from Sadie And The Hotheads.

The Alarm’s Mike Peters recently joined Big Country as the band’s lead vocalist, taking the place of the late Stuart Adamson, who passed away in 2001.The Scottish rockers recently celebrated their 30th anniversary by performing their classic debut album ‘The Crossing’ in full on their February UK tour.

With a performance set for this year's Isle Of Wight Festival, in preparation for the big appearance, Big Country will play intimate shows at Leicester's O2 Academy, Oxford's O2 Academy and Hertfordshire's Forum.

Big Country 2012 UK Live Dates are as follows:

June 20th – O2 Academy, Leicester
June 21st – O2 Academy, Oxford
June 22nd – Forum, Hatfield
