Swedish singer Robyn has announced a one-off gig in London for this November, her only currently scheduled headline UK date of the year.
The 32 year-old will perform in the O2 Academy Brixton on November 1st in a rare British appearance, with the date possibly set to coincide with the release of some new material. The star recently tweeted that she'd been in the studio, meaning album #6 could be on the way.
Robyn is a talented singer-songwriter who works her cool pop vocals with club-inspired eurodance, and released her latest album 'Body Talk' in 2010. The LP saw Robyn become an even more respected force in the music scene and featured collaborations with hip-hop hero Snoop Dogg and superstar producer Diplo.
Not only is the award-winning Robyn one of the highly-celebrated Swedish exports of modern times, she's also one the coolest – with star singer Katy Perry describing her as the 'epitome of cool'. Perry said: “She needs to give me advice! She's cool, dude. She makes everyone cooler. She's just, like, the epitome of effortless cool, like you look at her wardrobe and you think, 'I don't think I could wear that', but she wears it and she just owns it.”
Tickets for her London gig go onsale this Friday 25th May at 9am, and cost £20.00 + fees.
