The Fratellis Confirm September Low-Key UK Tour & Tickets

Scottish BRIT Award-winning indie-rockers The Fratellis are back together and have confirmed a string of low-key dates for September. The Fratellis Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday.
The Fratellis have reunited after vocalist Jon Lawler, who split from the band to go solo, realised how much he missed hanging out and performing with his bandmates.
Speaking about the reunion, Jon said: “Getting back was a completely out of the blue thing. I thought, ‘Why am I not seeing my friends and why are we not making a noise?’ Life is too short. Everybody had their moment of falling out and then you take some time and suddenly you even forget the things you fell out about."
He continued: “I didn’t think I would miss The Fratellis but it turns out you do miss it, especially when your band has only three people in it. We had quite a lot of experiences in a short period of time and we all changed overnight. The other two are the only others who would know that. It is a lesson learned.”
The last time The Fratellis performed together was four years ago. Jon now believes that during the time apart, the trio have learn to appreciate one another's differences.
“I guess we were very different to each other and still are. I have made a second solo record and we’ll put that out and the band will make some music together as well. I’m happy to just make music. It’s a hell of a lucky career to have.”
The Fratellis won a 2006 BRIT Award for their debut album 'Costello Music'. Their second album 'Here We Stand' peaked at Number 5 in the charts.
