After unveiling their new track 'Angels' last week, The xx have confirmed a one-off album launch show at London's Shepherds Bush Empire for Monday 10th September. The xx Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 27th July.
2010 Mercury Prize winners The xx are known for their captivating stripped-down minimalist sound. New single 'Angels' sees the group sticking to their rule of "quiet is the new loud" and will be the lead single from second studio album 'Coexist' released by Young Turks on 10th September. The band unveiled the track via a message on their official website stating: "IT’S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE WE’VE PLAYED YOU ANYTHING NEW. THIS SONG IS CALLED ANGELS, IT IS THE FIRST SINGLE FROM OUR NEW ALBUM, COEXIST. WE’VE BEEN PLAYING THIS SONG LIVE RECENTLY, SO IT FEELS GOOD TO SHARE WITH YOU THE VERSION WE’VE BEEN WORKING ON FOR SO LONG. WE HOPE YOU LIKE IT. XX THE XX"
