British 80s sensation Rick Astley, who rose to fame as part of the Stock Aitken Waterman hit factory, has confirmed dates for an autumn UK tour. Rick Astley Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday.
80s sensation Rick Astley holds the record as the first British male artist to have his first eight solo singles reach the UK Top 10 – including the global Number One ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’, ‘Whenever You Need Somebody’ and ‘Together Forever’.
Part of the Stock Aitken Waterman hit factory, which also delivered fellow pop icons Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan, as well as hits for Bananarama and Dead or Alive, Rick Astley was regarded as one of the best singers the hitmakers ever worked with.
In more recent developments, Rick's last release was his 2005 covers album 'Portrait'. He also released a one-off single titled 'Lights Out' last year.
