Enter Shikari Announce Intimate UK Tour & Tickets

Enter Shikari round off a solid 18 months of touring the world promoting their third album 'A Flash Flood Of Colour' with the ‘Return To Energiser 2013' UK and Ireland tour that sees them playing 24 intimate shows in towns that they have either not played for a long time, never played before, or that never really get rock shows on their doorstep.

'A Flash Flood Of Colour' ended 2012 in spectacular fashion picking up Kerrang! Magazine's 'Album Of The Year' honour, as well as high placings in the end of year polls and round-ups from Alternative Press, NME, Rock Sound, Punktastic and many more. December also saw the band closing out what had already been a massive year for them with a sold out UK tour, culminating in two nights at London's 3000 capacity Camden Roundhouse.

Since forming in school in Hertfordshire back in 2003, Enter Shikari has played over 1,000 live shows selling out numerous prestigious venues worldwide. Today, as promised in various teasing Facebook posts, Enter Shikari have announced they will be visiting venues that they’ve "either never been, or not been for years, or that don't generally get shows at all". The new tour will see them performing tracks new and old at what will be some of the most intimate shows they've played in recent years.

"We speak to a lot of people who come to the big shows and we're very aware that a large number of them travel distances to come and see us. Not everyone lives in a major city, so we figured it was time we went out and tried to visit some people a little closer to home. It’s going to be awesome to be in small rooms and up-close-and-personal with crowds again, plus visiting some new places along the way".

Support for all dates on the tour will come from hotly-tipped for 2013 technical-metal/ grime hybrid quintet Hacktivist.

In other news, following a triumphant end to 2012, Converse Gigs are getting ready to kick-start the new year in style with an exclusive show by Enter Shikari at London's 100 Club on Monday 28th January. Support on that night comes from The Algorithm.
