David Bowie's Wife Strongly Hints At Tour

There’s been yet another twist in the will he/won’t he status of David Bowie’s potential world tour, after comments from the superstar’s wife suggested that he will be jumping on his tour bus this year.

Since Bowie sensationally announced his return to music at the start of the year - with new album ‘The Next Day’ hitting shelves last week - there’s been almost non-stop speculation as to whether the 66 year-old will get on the road for a tour of the world.

Many of those close to Bowie have chipped in their thoughts on a tour, with his guitarist Gerry Leonard claiming that the chances of a tour were 50/50. Paddy Power have given similar odds, and slashed their odds of a tour to 2/1 back in January. But, Bowie’s producer Tony Visconti dashed fans hopes recent, after claiming that he would never tour again.

Now, rejuvenating hope, Bowie’s wife has strongly hinted that a tour will be going ahead in an interview with Grazia.

“We have a 12 year old in school, so we are stuck, we can’t travel,” Mrs Bowie explained. “Our schedule is around her, so I don’t know. We’ll have to go visit him, but we won’t be on tour with him because she’s in school.”

So, Bowie’s wife and daughter may be visiting him whilst on tour - would you go and visit him too? Let us know your thoughts on a David Bowie tour below.
