Josh Homme Praises Dave Grohl Ahead Of New QOTSA Album Release

Queens of the Stone Age star Josh Homme has opened up about working with the legendary Dave Grohl - stating that he makes a ‘good thing sound great’.
The Foo Fighters star worked with the band on their up and coming album ‘...Like Clockwork’, and even got behind the drums to record with them. And Homme, who’s worked with Grohl many times before, spoke his praises to BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe.
“I have a special relationship with Dave,” Homme told Lowe. “I've known him since I was 19. He makes something good, great. If something's mediocre he makes it great.”
He went on to talk about another of the album’s other collaborators - Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner.
Speaking of Turner, Homme revealed that he inspired their track ‘Kalopsia’, which he features on. He said: “I called him one day a few years ago, when I was first starting to think about the possibility of getting to make a record and said 'hey man, give me a good line.'" He hit me back and he was like "kalopsia", and I said "kalopsia, what the hell's that?" and he said "it's a condition wherein everything seems more beautiful than it actually is.”
