Neil Young To Retire From Touring Following Current Venture?

Frank ‘Poncho’ Sampedro, guitarist of Crazy Horse, has claimed that Neil Young’s current tour may be the last he ever does.
Crazy Horse have been performing with Young for years and years now, and if anyone knows about Young and his musical plans, it’ll be one of it’s members - and now, Sampedro has suggested that this may be Young’s last venture on the road.
He told Rolling Stone:
“My gut tells me this is really the last tour. I love playing and we're playing as good as we ever did, but at any time something could go down with any one of us. It takes a lot of energy to play that much.”
Sampedro also spoke about Young’s wrist, which could factor in a potential decision to retire from touring.
“[Young’s] wrist bugs him, and he has to tape it when he plays... I already had an operation on my thumb... It just seems at some point something is going to break.”
This news means that Young’s up and coming UK tour with Crazy Horse could very well be your last chance to catch the star live on stage - so if you’re fan, don’t miss out on tickets! Check the dates and links below to find a pair through Stereoboard.
