Finnish Rockers HIM Set For Autumn UK Tour?

Friday, 17 May 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Finnish rockers HIM recently released their eighth studio album ‘Tears on Tape’ - and it appears they could be preparing to unveil a UK tour for the Autumn!

The world-famous ‘Love Metal’ outfit unleashed 13 brand new tracks last month, with their critically-acclaimed new record ‘Tears on Tape’. After lining-up a US tour (which was incidentally cancelled after frontman Ville Valo was diagnosed with severe asthma and pneumonia), Stereoboard understands HIM will be once again returning to the UK for tour dates in the Autumn.

Though they’ve performed a handful of London gigs, the band haven’t toured in the UK for quite a while, so it’ll be extra special news for fans, who’ll finally have a run of HIM live gigs to look forward to. Nothing has been officially announced as of yet, but we imagine that they will be soon, and we'd expect tickets to be going on sale late June - shortly after their Pepsi Max stage headline set at Download 2013.

As mentioned, you’ll have to wait a few more weeks for an official confirmation, but stay with Stereoboard and we’ll let you know as soon as official info surfaces!

If you’re a fan of the band, you cannot afford to miss out on our HIM competition - you could win a signed, limited edition fanpack version of their latest album ‘Tears on Tape’. If you want to enter, click here!
