American alt-rock veterans Stone Temple Pilots have announced their first EP featuring new frontman Chester Bennington.
The platinum-selling outfit signed up the iconic Linkin Park vocalist after they parted ways with longtime singer Scott Weiland earlier this year. Having already played their first gigs, and released their first single ‘Out of Time’, they’ve now lined-up what will be their debut EP together.
Released on October 7 via Spinefarm Records, ‘High Rise’ will feature four brand new tracks as well as ‘Out of Time’, which was met with much critical acclaim when it arrived as free download earlier this year. You can check out the EP’s artwork on the right, while the official tracklisting is below.
The new EP will arrive after the band complete their September US tour, which sees them over a dozen gigs stateside.
