Welsh Music Foundation To Curate Swn Festival Seminars

Tuesday, 17 September 2013 Written by Dave Ball

Welsh Music Foundation will again curate a series of industry seminars during Cardiff's Swn Festival. The collection of guest speakers and industry focused panels will sit alongside the impressive line up already announced. Open to anyone, with or without a festival wristband, the seminars are designed to offer advice, guidance and inspiration to anyone working in, or planning to get into the music industry in Wales covering topics such as diversity, payment for your recorded work, pressures on local music scenes and access to funding.

All sessions are free to attend and to register for a place you need to be a member of Welsh Music Foundation. If you're not already a member, you can sign up at their website, welshmusicfoundation.com, which also provides information on all of the other services they can provide.

Bigger than ever before and having been rightly praised for its eclectic mix of artists across various inner city venues, Swn 2013 promises to be the best yet. For full details of line up and tickets go to swnfest.com
