Bloodstock Festival's ‘Rock Society’ memberships will go on sale on October 31. The ‘Rock Society’ is effectively the festival’s ‘Members Club’, offering not only a 10% discount on a weekend ticket (on top of the already discounted early bird ticket if you’re quick enough), but all sorts of other cool benefits, like access to the VIP Serpent's Lair bar, priority signing tent access, special tours of backstage and production areas so you can see ‘behind the scenes’, a rock society laminate, and plenty more besides.
Full details can be found at bloodstock.uk.com. The memberships are limited to just 250 and sell out very quickly every year, so don’t delay if you want to pick one up. Priced at £50, the memberships are available on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
Having recently picked up the award for ‘Best Festival under 15,000’ at this year’s UK Live Awards, Bloodstock has been nominated in three categories at the 2013 UK Festival Awards. All three of their categories - Best Medium Sized Festival, Best Grass Roots Festival, and Best Toilets - are voted for by the fans. To cast your vote, click here. With the three 2014 headliners already announced, Bloodstock 2014 is shaping up to be the strongest yet. Friday night’s bill toppers are New Orleans sludgemeisters Down. Joining them to head up Saturday night are black metal overlords Emperor and closing out proceedings on Sunday are the mighty thrash legends Megadeth.
