Simian Ghost Unleash New Track, A Million Shining Colours

Tuesday, 26 November 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Swedish alt-pop outfit Simian Ghost have unleashed a brand new track, A Million Shining Colours.

Set to feature on Simian Ghost’s third collection, ‘The Veil’, which is out in 2014, it’s a track that, according to frontman Sebastian Arnstrom, represents their next batch of material as a whole:

“We wrote A Million Shining Colours based on an idea which runs through much of the material on the new record; that we would try to develop our songwriting, partly by looking back in music history.

“The lyrics, to me, are about that feeling I think many people working with music or art in any form gets sometimes, that it's a bit hopeless what you're doing. It's about coming to terms with that, to able to look at yourself and what you burn for in life, in all it's hopelessness, and smile.”

You can check out the new tune below. 'The Veil' is the follow-up to 2012's 'Youth'.
