Kanye West has confirmed that he’s aiming to put out a new album by the summer of 2014.
West released his sixth studio album, ‘Yeezus’, earlier this year, hitting #1 on both sides of the pond. But, in a new interview with American radio station Power 99, he revealed that work is already underway on a follow-up.
He told the station:
“I haven't named my next album, but I have started on it. I always write down philosophies all the time, so I'll just have some thoughts and every time I think of it I write, and I'm just collecting beats, I'm just constantly working. I'd like to put out more product, I'd like have another album out by next summer.”
West is currently touring North America and has a batch of dates that will run through to the end of the year. If you’re a fan and need tickets, click here to search through Stereoboard!
