Pixies have continued their recent slow drip of new material with the release of 'EP 2'.
The alt-rock legends, who recently confirmed the arrival of Paz Lenchantin as their latest bassist, have unveiled four new tracks as the follow-up to 'EP 1', which arrived in September of last year.
Leading the way is Blue Eyed Hexe, which has also been given the video treatment. Black Francis, the band's frontman, said: “It’s a tale from the northwestern part of the UK, and it’s a witch-woman kind of a song. That’s what a ‘hexe’ is, and ours is a blue-eyed hexe.”
The band recently confirmed a headline slot at next year's Field Day festival in London, as well as shows in Dublin, supporting Arcade Fire, and Cork for this summer.
