Foo Fighters To Headline Invictus Games Closing Concert In London

Foo Fighters are to headline a huge open-air concert in London, celebrating the closing of the inaugural Invictus Games.

Taking place on the south lawn of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on September 14, the line up will include the only UK live show by Foo Fighters, along with performances from James Blunt, Ellie Goulding, Kaiser Chiefs, the Vamps, Ryan Adams, Rizzle Kicks, Diversity and Military Wives Choirs.

Speaking about the show, Foo Fighters said:

“We are thrilled to be a part of the Invictus Games celebration of resilience. To share a field with these unconquerable men and women is a true honour.”

The 26,000 capacity event will mark the conclusion of the Invictus Games, the new international sporting event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women. Tickets for the show are on sale at 9am on August 1, priced from £49.00, plus fees.
