The Damned will play a one-off show at London’s Forum on August 16.
The legendary punks have hastily arranged the headline date as uncertainty over the staging of Alt-Fest, where they were due to appear alongside Marilyn Manson, Gary Numan and many others, continues.
In a Facebook post, the band said:
“In an effort to ease your pain and frustration just a little in the wake of events surrounding the debacle that is/was Alt Fest, we've teamed up with our pals at Mama Group again and can announce that The Damned will play a one-off, last minute show at Kentish Forum on Saturday 16th August. Support acts for the evening are yet to be decided.”
Tickets are on sale now, priced at £10.00 plus fees.
