PREMIERE: HMS Morris Get Festive With This Mistletoe Is Mine

Friday, 04 December 2015 Written by Huw Baines

HMS Morris via Twitter: “2 days to go until we smash you with Christmas like it or not.”

Well, the two days are up. Prepare to be smashed with Christmas.

The Cardiff psych-pop three piece release their festive single, This Mistletoe is Mine (Ring-a-ding-a-ding), through Blinc Records today and we’re suitably excited to premiere its accompanying video below.

Hit play to catch up with Heledd Watkins, Sam Roberts and Wil Roberts, along with some baubles, shoddy presents and a bloke who needs to learn to eat with his mouth closed.

HMS Morris were recently confirmed among the latest batch of names for next year’s Focus Wales and are preparing to release their first full-length record next year.

Photo: Georgia Rawson There are plenty of music fans out there who would happily hype the battle between pop and rock for the rest of time: the dark side versus the light, Ivan Drago versus Rocky Balboa, John Travolta versus Nicolas Cage, Nicolas Cage versus John Travolta. But then we also have bands like Puppy, who are able to cast that whole argument in the comic light it often deserves.
