Ezra Furman Announces US Dates And Shares New Song The Prisoner

Ezra Furman has announced a brand new batch of US dates for next year, as well as sharing new track The Prisoner.
The American singer-songwriter's new song, which you can listen to below, was omitted from his most recent album, 'Perpetual Motion People', but did end up as the b-side to the 7" of Restless Year. Introducing the track on his Facebook page he said:
"I love the song. I can't believe it didn't make the album. Maybe it was just too damn weird. So far it's been the b-side of the Restless Year 7" and not available online anywhere. Now it's released from its analog shackles to wander the tubes of the Internet."
The track accompanies Furman's announcement of a 2016 US tour which will see him make an impressive 20 stops in the US and Canada next spring.
It has also been revealed that Ezra Furman will write the upcoming 33 1/3 book on Lou Reed’s 'Transformer', which is expected to be published sometime in 2018.
