The xx Tease More New Music

Monday, 07 November 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

The xx have shared another snippet of new music.

A month ago the band posted to Facebook saying they were in the studio working on their third album and shared a playlist of tracks they had been listening to while there.

Last week, meanwhile, a short instrumental appeared on it that sounded an awful lot like the xx. Though it was unnamed and not attributed to the band, it was marked as a Young Turks recording, the same label as the band's. Last night, it happened again. Check out the latest snippet below.

The London trio's last album was 2012's 'Coexist', their sophomore LP. Since then Jamie xx released his debut solo album, 'In Colour', last year, which received multiple award nominations, including the Mercury Prize.
