King Nun And Hunter And The Bear Among Acts Announced For The Great Escape's First Fifty Gig Series

Organisers of the Great Escape have confirmed the first acts for First Fifty.

The gig series, which was introduced last year, will take place across five East London venues - Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, the Old Blue Last, Kamio, Zigfrid von Underbelly and the Courtyard Theatre - between November 22 and 23, with the aim of showcasing new talent who will go on to appear at the festival.

The bands include King Nun, Hunter and the Bear, Coin, the Ninth Wave, Daniel OG, Ebenezer, Benny Mails, S4U, the Orielles, Sports Team, Hotel Lux, M.I.L.K, Ruby Empress, Stereo Honey, Stella Donnelly, Áine Cahill, Katie Von Schleicher, Mikaela Davis, Promiseland, Bad Gyal, Denzel Himself, Fred Well, Sam Fender, Jerry Williams, Love Ssega, Dan Stock, Tamino, Maisie Peters, Pitou, Mansionair, Rahh, Kops, City Calm Down, Wild Front, Moncrieff, Ten Tonnes, Freak, Feet, Joy Crooks, Awate and Naaz.

Tickets are on sale now, priced at £5.00 per show, plus fees.

UPDATE 11/10: All shows that were due to take place at Kamio have been moved to Birthdays.
