Table Scraps will release a new album early next year.
'Autonomy' is set to arrive on February 23, while its new single, Sick of Me, is streaming below. Speaking about it, guitarist and vocalist Scott Vincent Abbott said:
“Sick of Me is about when friendships stagnate and minor annoyance gives way to mouldering resentment. Then juxtapose that feeling on top of a jangly sunshine pop backdrop (or as close to that as we ever get!). The echo of our breeze block 5m x 5m (and very un-soundproofed) room also perfectly suited the track’s claustrophobic feel. It’s dedicated to everyone just about keeping a lid on telling that one person how you really feel and cutting them loose.”
The Birmingham band have a number of support slots in the diary for the coming months, including dates with Black Lips and Swedish Death Candy.
They have also lined up a headline tour, with stops confirmed in Sheffield, Brighton, London, Bourmemouth, Birmingham and Bristol between February 23 and March 3. Ticket details are set to follow in early December.
