Patti Smith, John Prine And Janis Ian Among First Names Confirmed For Cambridge Folk Festival

Patti Smith, John Prine and Janis Ian are among the first acts to be confirmed for next summer's Cambridge Folk Festival.
Also joining the line up are Rosanne Cash, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Rhiannon Giddens, Songhoy Blues, Beth Nielsen Chapman, John Moreland, Kate Rusby and friends, Eric Bibb, Eliza Carthy and the Wayward Band, Darlingside, Peatbog Faeries, Tamikrest, Damien O'Kane and Ron Block, the Shee, Gordie Mackeeman and his Rhythm Boys, Elephant Sessions, Darren Eedens and the Slim Pickin's, John Smith, Pierce Brothers, the East Pointers, Irish Mythen and National Youth Folk Ensemble.
The event will return to Cherry Hinton Hall between August 2 and 5. Tickets are on sale, with day prices ranging between £29 and £75 and weekend passes £175.50 plus fees.
