The Cranberries vocalist Dolores O'Riordan has died at the age of 46.
The Cranberries have sold over 40 million records and, after taking a mid-2000s break, recently reunited, releasing the compilation album 'Something Else' last year. In addition, O'Riordan recorded two solo albums, her most recent being 'No Baggage' in 2009.
In a statement, her publicist said:
"The lead singer with the Irish band The Cranberries was in London for a short recording session. No further details are available at this time."
"Family members are devastated to hear the breaking news and have requested privacy at this very difficult time."
