Embrace will release an orchestral version of their new album this summer.
The reworked 'Love Is A Basic Need' will arrive on June 29 through Cooking Vinyl. Speaking about it, vocalist Danny McNamara said:
“This is the first time we've done a full Orchestral album. We've done Orchestral versions of songs in the past and we always get asked about it. For ‘Love Is A Basic Need’ we decided to take the plunge. Mickey Dale is a really incredible string arranger and I think this album showcases the songs in a whole new light.”
We recently spoke with guitarist Rich McNamara about the new record. Check out the chat here.
The band are currently touring the UK and have also got a number of festival appearances lined up, including sets at Highest Point, Splendour, Party At The Palace, Victorious and Cool Britannia.
