Sorority Noise Cancel Tour Following Rape Allegation Against Cameron Boucher

Sorority Noise have cancelled their remaining tour dates with the Wonder Years due to an allegation of rape levelled at frontman Cameron Boucher.
The accusation was initially posted to Facebook, and subsequently deleted, by Nicole Schoenholz, the former guitarist of The World is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die. “CB is a fucking scumbag who raped a friend of mine,” she wrote. A user claiming to be the friend has since posted an account to Reddit.
Boucher issued a statement on Twitter on April 10. “I am aware of the Facebook post that Nicole Schoenholz made late last night that has made its way to Reddit and other social media,” he wrote. “I would like to firmly state that her accusations are false.”
The remaining members of Sorority Noise, who recently announced an indefinite hiatus, posted a message of their own on April 11. “Our team is doing it's due diligence and looking into the matter as quickly as possible,” they wrote. “In the meantime, we are no longer playing tonight’s show in London with The Wonder Years and will be removing ourselves from the remainder of the tour. We are looking after Cam and taking him to receive treatment to ensure his health at this time.
“It is difficult for us to say more at this moment as the rest of us are doing our best to handle the situation immediately in front of us. We will make an update as soon as we have any more information and clarity to offer. We are sorry to let any of you down and extend our deepest regrets to those affected. Thank you.”
