Underworld And Iggy Pop Announce Collaborative EP, Share New Track I'll See Big

Underworld and Iggy Pop have announced a collaborative EP.
Rick Smith, Karl Hyde and the rock legend met at the Savoy Hotel in London when working on music for the soundtrack to T2 Trainspotting, which came out early last year. The four tracks didn't make the final cut for the film and so will now be released as 'Teatime Dub Encounters' on July 27.
Having already revealed the record's opening track, Bells & Circles, Underworld and Iggy have now shared the EP's second song. Head below to listen to I'll See Big.

While overseeing the soundtrack for T2 Trainspotting, Underworld’s Rick Smith arranged a meeting with Iggy Pop in a room at The Savoy Hotel on London’s Strand to discuss working on collaborative music for the film. While the tracks didn’t make the final cut of the film, the encounters have formed this four-track EP.
Out today – I’ll See Big, the second track from the EP, is a wash of ambient sound that features Iggy recounting how friends – however dysfunctional – have saved him from a lifetime of bad decisions. The lyrics for I’ll See Big were inspired by a conversation Iggy had with Danny Boyle about the subtext of T2 Trainspotting, friendship."
Underworld will play a number of festivals this summer, including All Together Now in Ireland on August 4. Iggy Pop, meanwhile, also has some festival sets in the diary and will appear at Queens of the Stone Age's massive London show in Finsbury Park on June 30.
