Maynard James Keenan has responded to an allegation of sexual assault.
On June 22 Twitter user Iwas17HeWas36 accused the Tool and A Perfect Circle frontman of raping her at a stop on the latter band's 2000 tour with Nine Inch Nails. She has also retweeted other similar allegations made against him.
In his statement, Keenan denies the claims.
