Cat Power, aka Chan Marshall, will release her first album in six years this autumn.
'Wanderer', the follow up to 2012's 'Run', will arrive on October 5 through Domino. The record was produced entirely by Marshall and features guest vocals by Lana Del Rey.
In a statement about it, she said:
"The course my life has taken in this journey - going from town to town, with my guitar, telling my tale; with reverence to the people who did this generations before me. Folk singers, blues singers, and everything in between. They were all wanderers, and I am lucky to be among them.”
