Rod Stewart has shared an accompanying video for his current single, Didn't I featuring Bridget Cady.
The legendary singer-songwriter first released the track last month, alongside details of his 30th studio LP, the deeply personal 'Blood Red Roses', which is set to land on September 28 through Decca Records. The song is about the damage drugs can do from a parent’s point of view.
"I always think I make albums for a few friends and this record has that intimacy," Stewart said. "Sincerity and honesty go a long way in life and the same is true in songwriting."
Stewart's first album in three years was co-produced by his longterm collaborator Kevin Savigar and follows 2015's 'Another Country' and 2013's 'Time'. It will be released nearly 50 years to the date from when he signed his first solo recording contract.
