Toska, Midas Fall And More Join ArcTanGent's BOSS Breakfast Sessions

Monday, 08 July 2019 Written by Laura Johnson

ArcTanGent will return this summer.

The event is considered one of the UK's best festivals for fans of math-rock, post-rock, noise-rock, alt-rock and all the stuff you find in the spaces in between. It has previously hosted sets from Glassjaw, Shellac, Russian Circles, This Will Destroy You, Fuck Buttons, And So I Watch You From Afar, and MONO, while you can expect to find roughly 70 bands across four stages, plus a silent disco and mouth-watering food stalls.

What? A three-day event with an eclectic line up of bands from all over the world, full of loud noises, sharp edges, weird time signatures and off-kilter hooks.

Where? Fernhill Farm in Compton Martin. It's just 10 miles from Bristol and two hours from London.

When? August 15 - 17.

Who? The latest line up announcement is for the Breakfast Sessions, which will take place in a 20ft shipping container, with viewing platform roof, stretch tent and seating, in partnership with BOSS and Roland. Toska, CLT DRP, a-tota-so, Aiming for Enrike, Midas Fall, and Wild Cat Strike will appear between 9am and 11am on the Friday and Saturday to run through what equipment they use to achieve their sound.

Coheed and Cambria will headline the Thursday night, Battles the Friday and Meshuggah — for who the festival will be their only UK show of 2019 —  will top the bill on Saturday. Also set to appear across the weekend are 65daysofstatic, Cult of Luna, Zeal & Ardor, the Black Queen, Daughters, Caspian, the Contortionist, Three Trapped Tigers, the Algorithm, Frontierer, Conjurer, Bossk, the Physics House Band, Møl, GosT, AK/DK, Birds in Row, Car Bomb, Azusa, Pijn, Sithu Aye, LLNN, A.A.Williams, Letters From The Colony, Invalids, Standards, Collosal Squid, Aiming for Enrike, Floral, Cattle, Wild Cat Strike, Lost in the Riots, Big Lad, Voronoi, Ogives Big Band, Hexcut, Sugar Horse, Carpenter Brut, Polyphia, the Ocean, Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Toska, Covet, Yvette Young, Nordic Giants, Zu, GNOD, Sleep Token, Elephant Gym, Palm Reader, Matt Calvert, Cocaine Piss, BATS, Good Game, the St. Pierre Snake Invasion, Ithaca, Puerto Austral, DJ Perro, Kaguu, DAGS!, DobleCapa, AMNT, All The Best Tapes, Clt Drp, Too Piste, RAD PITT, Employed To Serve, Puppy, Raketkanon, Brutus, Cultdreams (fka Kamikaze Girls), Slow Crush, Gender Roles, and Black Peaks — who'll be performing with Jamie Lenman on vocals.

Tickets? On sale now, priced from £60 for the day, £99 for two day passes and £115 for a three day ticket plus fees.
