Meshuggah To Headline Saturday Of ArcTanGent 2019

Thursday, 06 September 2018 Written by Laura Johnson

ArcTanGent festival will return next summer.

The event is considered one of the UK's best festivals for fans of math-rock, post-rock, noise-rock, alt-rock and all the stuff you find in the spaces in between. It has previously hosted sets from Glassjaw, Shellac, Russian Circles, This Will Destroy You, Fuck Buttons, MONO, And So I Watch You From Afar and 65daysofstatic, while you can expect to find roughly 70 bands across four stages, plus a silent disco and mouth-watering food stalls.

What? A three day event with an eclectic line up of bands from all over the world, full of loud noises, sharp edges, weird time signatures and off-kilter hooks.

Where? Fernhill Farm in Compton Martin. It's just 10 miles from Bristol and two hours from London.

When? August 15 - 17

Who? The first announcement for the festival's seventh edition is that Swedish metallers Meshuggah will headline the final day, Saturday August 17. It will be their only UK show of 2019.

Tickets? On sale now, priced from £60 for the day, £99 for two day passes and £115 for a three day ticket plus fees.

Green Man: We All Had A Lovely Time (Again)
Fri 24 Aug 2018
According to the weather forecast, we’re getting lows of 12 degrees and frequent showers, which isn’t what anyone wants to hear in the days running up to a festival. Particularly as we’ve just sweated through the hottest summer since 1976. Mac and wellies at the ready (with the suncream left at home in protest), stepping through the door was an exercise in mentally preparing for a long weekend of feeling soaked to the bone. But Green Man doesn’t allow for moping.
