Rival Sons Return With New Song Do Your Worst

Friday, 14 September 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

Rival Sons are back with a new song.

Do Your Worst serves as the first taste of the rock quartet's currently untitled sixth studio album, the follow-up to 2016's 'Hollow Bones'. Produced by longtime collaborator Dave Cobb and recorded at RCA Studio A in Nashville and at Muscle Shoals, Alabama, the LP is set to arrive in early 2019.

Head below to watch the song's accompanying video, which offers a look at the band on the road and in the studio. Vocalist Jay Buchanan said:

"Sometimes environment really shapes a song. Hunkered down in a threadbare shack deep in the south Tennessee woods we (Scott and I) sweated it out and just wrote for a week straight. We were set out on an old causeway surrounded by neglected reservoirs and overgrown with shit you don’t want to see and yes; infested with all manner snakes. The song is a whiskey nightmare crawling with copperheads to me."
