Robyn Releases Insistent Club Banger Honey

Thursday, 27 September 2018 Written by Huw Baines

Robyn has released the title track of her new album.

‘Honey’, the long-awaited follow up to 2010’s ‘Body Talk’, is expected on October 26. In its final form the lead song, which appeared in an embryonic version on Girls back in 2017, is a pulsating, patient piece that draws us in with an insistent melody before disappearing into the ether.

“It’s not produced or written as a normal pop song,” Robyn recently told the New York Times. “It is totally based on this idea of club music.”
