Soak has confirmed the details of her second album.

Bridie Monds-Watson will put out 'Grim Town', the follow up to her 2015 debut 'Before We Forgot How To Dream', on April 26 through Rough Trade Records. Prior to this she will head out on a short run of US dates and following the release will embark on UK and European tours in May. She said:

“['Grim Town'] is a dystopia that I’ve created in my brain: me on the inside, processed into a pretend location. The way I could wrap my head around a lot of what I was going through was to make it feel like something quite physical and real. Once I had the idea of the album being an actual location, exploring the dynamics of this town and what it would look or sound like felt like the right way to give my mental state a personality.”

Alongside the announcement of the record, Soak has shared a video for its latest single, Knock Me Off My Feet. The track is an indie-pop and folk influenced number with jangly melodies adding a carefree tone to the proceedings, while lyrically she delves into the "lawlessness and freedoms of small-town culture," according to the press release.
