Gesaffelstein Drops New Single Lost In The Fire Featuring The Weeknd

Friday, 11 January 2019 Written by Laura Johnson

Gesaffelstein has dropped his new single.

Lost In The Fire features the Weeknd and follows up the French producer's recent track Reset, which arrived in November after mysterious billboards began surfacing in New York and Paris. Both are expected to feature on his upcoming album 'Hyperion'.

This isn't the first time the pair have teamed up. They collaborated with eachother for two songs on the Weeknd's 2018 release ‘My Dear Melancholy’, I Was Never There and Hurt You.

Head below to check out the new track, which masterfully merges both artist's musical palettes; the DJ and producer's background in electro and dance music, and the vocalist's slick, yet alternative take on R&B. Lyrically, meanwhile, the song focuses on sex and love.

Gesaffelstein was recently announced for this year's Coachella festival. Head here to check out the full line up.
