Foals have released the first taste of their new album.
‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost’ is due for release on March 8, with its accompanying second part due in autumn.
Exits, the record’s first cut, is an indie rock track that takes a more digital direction than the heavier sound Foals have been building for themselves over the past couple of albums, 2015’s ‘What Went Down’ and ‘Holy Fire’ back in 2013. It came as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record, and similar to most of their back catalogue, there’s pounding drums, high pitched guitar refrains, and that now iconic vocal delivery of Yannis Philippakis' raspy wail.
