Bikini Kill have announced even more US reunion shows.
The band revealed on January 15 that they would be reforming for a handful of dates. Due to demand and an issue with tickets being snapped up by bots and for resale, they have sinced announced five more dates.
The latest additions to the schedule are a May 1 show at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, where they have already confirmed performances on April 25, 26 and May 2, and a stop at Brooklyn's King Theatre on June 4, a day prior to their previously announced stop there.
Tickets for the new shows go on sale at midday Eastern Time tomorrow, February 1. In order to purchase them you must register as a verified fan here before then. Vocalist Kathleen Hanna, drummer Tobi Vail and bassist Kathi Wilcox, will be joined by guitarist Erica Dawn Lyle.
The band - Hanna, Vail, Wilcox and then gutiarist Billy Karren- formed in 1990 and split in 1997, following the release of their 1996 LP 'Reject All American'. They are viewed as the instigators of the riot grrrl movement and have continued to inspire artists through numerous other projects, including the Julie Ruin and Le Tigre.
