Twenty One Pilots Announce Support For UK And European Bandito Tour

Friday, 01 February 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Twenty One Pilots have announced the support act for the UK and European leg of their Bandito Tour.

The duo will be joined by LA-based punk band the Regrettes for the lengthy trek, which gets underway in Russia on February 2. The UK and Ireland leg of the tour commences in Dublin on March 1 and includes three nights at London's SSE Arena Wembley.

Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun are touring behind their latest album, last year's 'Trench'. The Regrettes, meanwhile, put out their 'Attention Seeker' EP in 2018, which served as the follow up to their 2017 debut album, 'Feel Your Feelings Fool!'.

Folllowing a North American run in the summer, Twenty One Pilots will head back to the UK to top the bill at Reading and Leeds in August.

Twenty One Pilots - Trench (Album Review)

In 2015, Twenty One Pilots got their big break. The Ohioans’ fourth album, ‘Blurryface’, summited the US chart and sent two singles into similarly rarefied air. The following year another song, Heathens, ushered in the soundtrack to the hit film, Suicide Squad. The resulting period has seen the band ascend to arena-filling stardom and paved the way for ‘Trench’, a record that combines their distinctive blend of elaborate production with re-upped nu-metal.

Maggie Rogers - Heard It In A Past Life (Album Review)
Wed 23 Jan 2019
Across its 45 minute running time, Maggie Rogers’ debut LP initially appears to be a success. It is immaculate—from her vocal performances through to her tasteful arrangement of modern pop tropes—and wears the hype of an early Pharrell endorsement with ease. But time reveals that to be a surface reflection.
Beirut - Gallipoli (Album Review)
Fri 08 Feb 2019
Zach Condon’s fifth album as Beirut is an elegant, if twee, manifestation of his signature sound: sweet melodies woven into culturally diverse arrangements and boxy, distinctive production. It’s a decent record that will reward diehard fans, but it also somehow feels locked in the late ‘00s with Fleet Foxes and the Shins.
