Kamasi Washington Announces Headline Shows Around UK Festival Appearances

Kamasi Washington has announced a run of headline shows for this spring.

The California jazz saxophonist will call in Birmingham, Glasgow, Bristol and Manchester around his appearances at the Soundcrash Funk and Soul Weekender on May 19 and All Points East at London's Victoria Park on May 26. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on February 8.

Prior to the new dates, he'll play Dublin's Olympia Theatre on March 3 and the O2 Academy Brixton on March 5 as part of a tour behind his second album, 'Heaven and Earth', which arrived last summer via Young Turks Recordings.
