Kelly Rowland and brand Dove have collaborated for a new song and video, Crown.
The empowering anthem breaks down society's definition of what's considered "beautiful" hair, while the clip features the former Destiny's Child member with girls who were bullied and sent home from school because of their hair.
"Growing up, I felt many of the pressures young girls face today when it comes to embracing their hair, but my mom would always tell me that your hair is your crowning glory and you should wear it proudly," said Rowland.
"This song is very personal to me and, having met many of the real girls who inspired it, I am incredibly proud to be partnering with Dove to spark this conversation and encourage girls everywhere to love their hair."
Crown follows up last year's single Kelly, which marked her first new release under her own steam since 2016's Conceited. Her last solo album, meanwhile, was 2013's 'Talk A Good Game'.
