BLACKPINK Announce New Single And EP 'Kill This Love'

Monday, 25 March 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

BLACKPINK have announced a new EP, 'Kill This Love'.

The K-pop girl group will release the record on April 5, ahead of their debut shows in the US, Australia, Europe and the UK, where they'll play Manchester Arena on May 21 and London's SSE Arena Wembley the following day.

The quartet's record label, YG Entertainment, revealed the news with a post on social media alongside a photo of BLACKPINK's youngest member, Lisa, viewable below. Referencing BLACKPINK's previous single, management said:

"BLACKPINK's upcoming new song is a very fierce track, even more so than 'DDU-DU DDU-DU'.

"BLACKPINK's choreography was composed by four world-famous choreographers, and is more dynamic than any of the choreography released by BLACKPINK. It will satisfy the anticipation and satisfactory level of global fans. BLACKPINK is currently shooting their new MV [music video] day and night for four days, working hard to finalize their preparation to make comeback."

The EP will mark the group's first release through Interscope Records and Universal Music Group since revealing their partnership with them at the end of last year.
