Kurt Vile Announces North American Tour, Covers The Rolling Stones' No Expectations

Kurt Vile has announced a North American tour.
The Pennsylvania singer and songwriter will kick off the trek in Cleveland, Ohio on July 18, before stops in Michigan, Philadelphia, New York, Ontario, and concluding in Portland, Maine on August 3. Tickets go on sale at midday local time on April 19.
To accompany the news, Vile has released a Rolling Stones cover. His version of No Expectations isn’t far from the original, and keeps the country aesthetic with acoustic guitars, but it is fleshed out with piano chords and his distinctive, warbling vocals.
Recorded at the Spotify Studios in New York, No Expectations comes alongside a new version of Loading Zones, a stripped back edition of the 2018 ‘Bottle It In’ track.
With a tour of Australia and New Zealand now in full swing, Vile also has plans in the UK and Europe, with festival appearances at Glastonbury, All Points East, Primavera Sound, Best Kept Secret and more inked in the diary.
