Thursday, 25 April 2019 Written by Laura Johnson

A new Prince album will be released this summer.

'Originals' will feature 15 tracks — 14 of which are previously unreleased recordings — by the legendary artist, who passed away on April 21, 2016. The record will arrive on June 21 in partnership with Warner Bros. Records and Tidal. The tracklist was a collaboration between Troy Carter and Jay-Z.

Tidal will exclusively stream the album for 14 days from June 7, following which Warner Bros. will drop it digitally and on CD on June 21, with a vinyl release set for July 19.
