Angels And Airwaves Return With First New Song In Three Years Rebel Girl And North American Dates

Tom DeLonge-fronted Angels and Airwaves are back with the announcement of a tour and a new track.
Ending an absence of three years, Rebel Girl arrives via Rise Records/BMG as the trio's first new music since 2016's 'Chasing Shadows' EP and the lead track from their upcoming album and companion feature film project.
The song features the band's trademark futuristic synth-rock style with DeLonge's distinctive voice building up to a catchy chorus. The former Blink-182 vocalist and guitarist added:
"Rebel Girl is a space-age love song that combines my enduring obsession for new wave, pop-punk and anthemic rock and roll music. As some of you might’ve heard, I recently took a brief minute to start up an aerospace company, so you never know - I may play this song from a satellite deep in space, beamed toward everyone's house viciously on repeat."
DeLonge, guitarist David Kennedy and drummer IIan Rubin, with bassist Matt Rubano, will perform the song live on September 4 when they kick off a comeback tour at the Marquee Theater in Phoenix, Arizona.
The month-long North American trek will mark the band's first live shows in seven years, with tickets on general sale at 12pm local time on May 3. Head below for dates.
