The expansive Salamander features a slick sax solo and marks the former Supergrass frontman's first new material of 2019, following up last summer's 'World's Strongest Man' LP. It was written and recorded by Coombes at his Oxford studio, and co-produced alongside long-time collaborator Ian Davenport.
Coombes embarks on a rescheduled UK tour next week. The shows were orginally lined up for January but were pushed back after the prolific singer-songwriter broke his leg last November. He also supports Kaiser Chiefs at Elland Road on June 8.
